As in “inherent vice.” The legal term, not the (excellent) P.T. Anderson film.
After nearly four months, my “sea shipment” finally arrived. Thoroughly unimpressive. Things I (obviously) didn’t need to survive here. Linens, dress clothes, emergence kits, etc.
But now I know — definitively — what I need to buy to truly settle in.
Was catching up on your blog and was prompted to stop down here and add a comment.
Inherent Vice was excellent? What did I miss? I was antsy for it to end. I’m willing to try it again. Could have been in a bad mood or something.
Hope you’re well and happy. Love ya, U.P.
I haven’t had a chance to talk about it with anyone. Was the general consensus back in the States that it wasn’t good? Granted, I am a sucker for detective movies, but I found the whole thing enjoyable. Sort of a darker, 70s Big Lebowski.
