Watershed

From the South Island’s west coast, I headed east, straight through the mountain range at the heart of the island.  It felt very much like driving through the Rocky Mountains.
A rainbow ended a the small town of Arthur’s Pass in the middle of the mountains.I wasn’t able to capture it well, though.  But I tried. Yet more majestic mountains. Yet more stunning vistas.
There is so much natural beauty throughout the island that you almost grow numb to it all. It just keeps going and going.
